Accommodation in Uganda is based around the main tourist areas, while the capital - Kampala - has some large and luxurious hotels of the international variety.

It would be unfair to compare Uganda's lodges to the decadent accommodation of South Africa and Botswana, but you certainly won't want for comfort and good food in stunning settings.

Most of the lodges in Uganda are smaller and more intimate than those in the rest of East Africa. In addition, the principles of ecotourism are taken very seriously by many of the lodges here.
