An exclusive semi- permanent camp in the Serengeti that can sleep up to 10 guests, Lions Of Lobo Luxury Tented Camp is located in the Lobo Area, probably the most unique section of the Serengeti National Park with its rising and falling hills and enormous granite outcrops.

During the day, the camp will have generated power and will be completely natural at night with lanterns and natural light. During the day internet facilities will be available for email and bookings.

Lions of Lobo Wildlife Documentary: The photogenic Lobo region with a high population lion and leopard is perfect for wildlife filmmaking. As a visitor to Lions Of Lobo Luxury Tented Camp, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of the wildlife documentary filming process. The cameras will also be rolling in the background around the campfire at night and you will receive your own souvenir footage as reminder of your unique safari experience.

You will also have every opportunity to learn how to be a wildlife photographer. Carel Verhoef will oversee all activities and photography/wildlife documentary making, and you are welcome to join him throughout the filming / photography experience.

The Lobo region is one of the less utilised sections of the Serengeti, allowing for game viewing of a very high quality with an affluent diversity of resident animals.

The Lobo Kopjes form a perfect vantage point from where to view the migration of over a million wildebeest from July to September, and again on their return from November to December every year. The rolling landscapes make it easy to spot the abnormally large lion prides that make this their home, as well as the abundance of non-migratory game such as elephant, zebra, gazelle and buffalo.

Each tent at Lions Of Lobo Luxury Tented Camp has twin beds that can be converted into a double bed. The camp has 3 bathroom tents with hot water bucket showers, flush toilets and basins.
