1933 at Lion Sands is situated on the Sabie River banks, in the Lion Sands Private Game Reserve.

The main lodge is designed to blend into the environment, with large windows and sliding doors, and a muted colour scheme. This exclusive lodge provides an intimate African experience, where your family and friends are the only guests. Your group can stay in 4 private and secluded suites, affording great river views. There is also a children's dormitory which sleeps 8, so you can have a group of up to 16 people.

You can sit back and enjoy the views of the river and surrounding bush from the outdoor living room, or enjoy absolute privacy on your own wooden viewing deck. The main lodge has a wraparound balcony, allowing you to gaze out at the various different sceneries.

This rich and diverse area allows for various game viewing activities. Game drives and bush walks are offered, where you have the opportunity to see a variety of game including lion, elephant, white rhino, leopard, cheetah and many more.

You could also take a Hippo Tour, or gain some insight into the local history and culture with a visit to Henna Pre-School and HIV clinic.

For a relaxing day at the camp, you could cool off in the swimming pool and pamper yourself with treatments at the Lalamuku Health Spa.

1933 at Lion Sands has 4 spacious suites. All the suites have en-suite bathroom facilities, and additional outdoor showers with excellent views of the river. You can also enjoy the views from your own private wooden viewing deck.

There is also a children's dormitory sleeping 8 children, with an additional room for an au-pair.
