Set amongst the shady trees on the southern edge of the Okavango Delta, this exclusive eco-friendly lodge provides a secluded, intimate African experience, as you stay in complete luxury. Baines Camp overlooks a large, perennial lagoon just off the Boro RIver, making it a prime location for extensive water safaris.
The main area is made up of a deck which overlooks the lagoon, and a swimming pool with two sala's. There are 5 luxurious suites positioned on elevated wooden platforms, with views of the Boro River and lagoon. The suites contain fully-mobile 4-poster beds, so you can choose to sleep under the stars while in the luxury of your bed.
The surrounding area is superb for viewing all animal and bird species. You could enjoy the scenery while relaxing in the swimming pool or sipping a drink on the deck. You could choose to explore the land further, by embarking on a guided walking safari, or on day and night 4X4 safaris. You will be given the opportunity to spend a day with 3 semi-habituated elephants, as you join them in their daily foraging treks.
The camp also offers a range of water safaris. Mokoro (dug-out canoes) excursions will give you the opportunity to explore the African wilderness in the quiet tranquility of the water, while motorboat safaris will give you a more exhilarating experience.

DiningThe main area of Baines Camp features a large deck for a truly African outdoor dining experience. You can enjoy gourmet cuisine, complemented by vintage wines, overlooking the lagoon and Okavango Delta.
Baines Camp is small and intimate, featuring just 5 luxurious suites set on elevated platforms in the tree line. The spacious bedrooms have a romantic feel, with softly draped fabrics and luxurious 4-poster beds. The beds are fully mobile so you can choose to sleep under the African stars.
The suites are designed for comfort and luxury, with ceiling fans and spacious en-suite bathrooms. Each suite has its own private wooden deck, allowing you to enjoy the African beauty from the privacy of your own suite.
